Laurel Eastman

Pro Kiteboarder Laurel Eastman chooses Hotel Caracol for her World Cup preparation. She stays several weeks of the year and enjoys to improve her riding at Bozo beach; a superb location in front of the hotel! Laurel is happy to provide the many guests of the hotel with insider tips about Kiteboarding, the fast growing action sport, who conquers Cabarete and the World. 

Laurel jumped in her very first year of competition, several times on the podium and placed 4^th overall in both Kiteboarding World Tours, the PKRA World Cup and the KPWT World Tour 2002. Currently ranked as the best US kiteboarder, Laurel is considered the hottest newcomer in the fast growing action sport. The 25 year old got the spotlight not only for her spectacular kiting style on the water and as a sports model, but also because of her charismatic personality, spreading her Aloha spirit everywhere she goes. While riding on the wave of success, Laurel is dedicated to promote Kiteboarding as a lifestyle and still finds the time to report current events for websites, Kiteboarding Magazines and as a hostess for TV shows.
