Mount Ysabel de Torres is also home to the highest manicured
gardens in the Caribbean, in addition to 5 indigenous birds.
Hiking through rainforest, this tropical expedition starts
at sea level and finishes at 2,700ft. At the top enjoy breathtaking
views of the old Puerto Plata bay. Picnic breakfast and lunch

An incredible 77 square kilometers of jungle, lagoon, caves,
forest and open backcountry to explore. Can there be a better
way to learn the Spanish names of various plants, trees and
fruits than through smelling, touching, climbing and tasting
the real and natural thing?

Waterfall of Damajagua Cascade Hike:
Behind the sugar cane fields of Puerto Plata and into the
hills for an intense climb up the 27 waterfalls of Damajagua.
A labyrinth of tunnels, caves and natural pools leads us through
a virtual fairytale land of beauty. Sliding and jumping down
is just as much fun. Although this is a non-technical climb,
hikers should be informed that it is a physically demanding
hike for the upper body, as well as the lower. Includes light
breakfast on the road, snack, lunch, and drinking water.
